Organizational Profile:
• Kirabo aid is a charity nonprofit – child, women and youth-centered serving organization seeking to promote and empower well being of young people with specific emphasis on Education & Literacy empowerment, Child & Family strengthening, Health & Eye Care, Enhancement of Gender equality and Girl child support, Promotion of youth Livelihood, developing Leadership and talents among young people.
• Kirabo aid do re-integrate orphans and school dropouts back to school by sponsoring them, providing education needs and requirements that have always been hindering majority of them from being at school and attaining education.
• Kirabo aid, has come out to fight blindness especially in the vulnerable people who can’t afford to access treatment neither glasses to collect the refractive error which lead to vision loss in children and old people. 1.4Million Ugandan are visually impaired due to short sightedness and refractive errors, as an organization we have carried out eye care awareness campaigns named @MY EYE MY SIGHT!
• Kirabo aid as an organization works specifically with orphans and vulnerable children, elderly people and women especially the girl child in hard to reach areas who seek to live with dignity through our community outreach activities such as counselling, Health & Eye care, youth Livelihood empowerment and medical outreaches in various poor communities. Kirabo aid has gained experience in working with children and young people through offering friendly, appropriate and timely service delivery and follow up on several cases and through this many vulnerable have benefited a lot.

With this in mind, Our Mission is “To restore sight, contributing to wellbeing of vulnerable children, youth and women by providing access to quality services.
